A legendary PGA TOUR stop makes its long-awaited return to South Florida as the Cadillac Championship prepares to bring elite golf and global attention back.
South Florida’s golf scene is about to get a familiar spark of excitement. The Cadillac Championship, one of the PGA TOUR’s premier events, is officially returning to Miami in 2026.
Scheduled for April 29 through May 3, the tournament marks the rebirth of a major professional golf event at the historic course, which hosted PGA TOUR competitions for more than five decades. For many golf fans, the Blue Monster is synonymous with dramatic finishes, legendary champions, and the kind of pressure-packed holes that separate contenders from champions.
The upcoming Cadillac Championship will be one of the PGA TOUR’s eight Signature Events for the 2026 season. These elite tournaments feature limited fields composed of the top performers from current and previous seasons, ensuring that the strongest players in professional golf are competing against one another.
Roughly 72 golfers are expected to participate, representing the highest tier of the PGA TOUR. For fans, that means the possibility of watching some of the biggest names in the game battling it out on a course famous for its demanding design.
The return also carries historic weight. Over the years, fourteen members of the World Golf Hall of Fame have won tournaments on the course, collecting a combined 24 titles.
Among the most memorable champions is Tiger Woods, who won four times in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2013. Those victories helped cement the course’s reputation as a proving ground for the game’s greatest talents.
Tournament officials say the 2026 event will combine that heritage with a modern fan experience designed to reflect Miami’s energy and culture.
“We’re excited to welcome our fans, players, community partners, and volunteers back,” said Cadillac Championship Executive Director Dave Mack. “It will be a vibrant week featuring incredible golf and an electric atmosphere.”
Daily grounds tickets will give fans access to the course from Wednesday through Sunday, allowing them to walk the fairways and watch the world’s best golfers compete just steps from the ropes. Tickets begin at $40 for Wednesday practice rounds, while pricing adjusts dynamically based on demand.
For spectators seeking an upgraded experience, hospitality areas such as the Michelob ULTRA Club will offer lounge seating, shaded viewing areas, and beverage service near the dramatic finishing stretch of the course, particularly around the 17th green.
The event is also designed to be family-friendly. Up to two children ages 15 and under may attend for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, making it easier for families to experience professional golf together.
Beyond the tournament itself, the Cadillac Championship represents something larger for the region: the return of a global sporting event to South Florida.
