Clear Creek Golf Car and Vehicles LLC continues its rapid expansion, acquiring Ozark Golf Cars in a strategic move that brings new leadership, product lines, and employees under the same roof.

Clear Creek Golf Car and Vehicles LLC, based in Ozark, has announced the acquisition of a local competitor, Ozark Golf Cars and Utility Vehicles, marking its fourth major acquisition in three years. The deal was finalized on January 15, with terms undisclosed, according to Trey Hathcock, Clear Creek’s marketing director as reported by Springfield Business Journal.

As part of the acquisition, Spencer King, owner of Ozark Golf Cars, will take on a leadership role at Clear Creek. King’s team of eight employees will also join the workforce at Clear Creek, which now boasts 122 employees.

“Given the success of both companies, merging with Clear Creek was the natural next step,” said King in the announcement. “For years, we were direct competitors, but Clear Creek’s values and vision align perfectly with ours. I’m excited to be a part of this team and see what the future holds.”

Ozark Golf Cars, founded in 2005, had expanded in 2019 with the acquisition of King Karts in Clinton, and offers a range of products, including E-Z-Go and Yamaha golf cars, as well as Cushman utility vehicles. The addition of these lines is seen as a significant boost to Clear Creek’s offerings.

“Spencer has built a fantastic business over nearly two decades, and we’re thrilled to have him and his team join the Clear Creek family,” said Clear Creek CEO Brian Cheever. “Bringing in the E-Z-Go and Cushman product lines is a game-changer for us, but just as important is the expertise and relationships that Spencer and his team bring.”

This latest acquisition is part of Clear Creek’s aggressive growth strategy. In September, Clear Creek purchased Russellville-based Pappy’s Outdoors, following earlier acquisitions of Oklahoma City-based Justice Golf Car and a Club Car distributor in Little Rock. With these recent deals, Clear Creek now operates 11 locations across three states, solidifying its position as a major player in the golf car industry.
