The initial FX40 product offering was a complete sell-out and eclipsed expected sales projections. ICON EV Took the Spotlight at the 2025 PGA Show
ICON EV had ambitious plans at the 2025 PGA Show, which recently took place at the Orange County National Golf Center & Convention Center in Orlando, FL. ICON skillfully worked as a team and flawlessly executed this massive multi-dimensional event.
This global gathering for the business of golf kicked off with Demo Day. ICON EV definitely “amped up” the customer experience, providing complimentary rides for attendees via a fleet of 16 ICON EV shuttles that ran throughout the entire day.

In addition to the ICON EV shuttle fleet, the team was positioned front and center at the entrance, greeting everyone with total enthusiasm as they entered this epic event. Three brand new FX40 models made their official industry debut at Demo Day, alongside an EPIC E40L and an ICON i60L. Here, attendees got some of the first in-person looks at this incredible LSV. In typical fashion, the ICON team created quite the buzz by engaging the attendees in spirited games of “The Price is Right” and “This or That,” alongside an incredible DJ, whose high-energy playlist gave Demo Day a true party vibe.
Thanks to overwhelming interest shown by media outlets, the ICON booth was swirling with nonstop activity, packed with prospective dealers as well as members of ICON’s established nationwide dealer network, who were extremely proud to see the extraordinary representation of the ICON brand at the show.
As one of the best innovators in the world of LSVs, the team at ICON EV showed up and showed off by being the ONLY golf cars on display in the New Product Zone. Here, attendees got an up-close and personal look at the FX40’s extravagant features, as well as an in-depth look at the ICON G-Series, the only gas LSV on the market today.
Additionally, a completely custom decked-out version of the FX40 was showcased at SoundExtreme by ECOXGEAR’s booth. EPIC upgrades included SoundExtreme’s SE28 Soundbar, ES08 Subwoofer, 4-Zone LED Controller, 4′ Extreme Whips and was powered by a 51V/105Ah Eco Battery. This show-stopping FX40 really turned some heads and gained major accolades.
In fact, this beauty was invited to the stage to be featured on The Golf Channel live at the event. Hosts Matt and Bailey went “EPIC” during the PGA Show Golf Today segment– highlighting the FX40 as the best of 2025 new models on The Golf Channel.
The ICON EV main booth brought the spotlight to an array of their hottest product offerings, including two of the new FX40 models, 2025 Epic Cars, 2025 ICON EVs, 2025 ICON Gas Vehicles and a HD Utility Vehicle on display. ICON industry partners – including Revenge Golf Cart Parts & Accessories, Eco Battery, WiTricity wireless EV charging pads, and SoundExtreme by ECOXGEAR – together demonstrated the synergy that makes the creation of the ultimate LSV possible.

What’s the Buzz About?
The fabulous all-forward-facing FX40 features 14-inch radial street tires for an ultra-smooth ride, a large lit ‘frunk’ storage compartment on the front cowl plus a removable rear storage trunk, storage under the rear seat, and locking glove compartments in the dash. The dash is beautifully illuminated with stunning lighting, along with side panel and roof lighting accent features. Adding even more of a WOW factor is the SoundExtreme by EcoXGear® 360 Amp marine-grade audio system with four 6.5-inch speakers.
Other key attributes include the wireless phone charging pad, 10-inch multimedia dash display monitor, backup camera and even a convenient umbrella holder. The styling and creature comforts resemble a fine quality automotive feel, with a fully-adjustable tilt steering wheel, automotive style horn, push button start with key fob, multiple cup holders, 3-point DOT-compliant seat restraints, grab bars and much more.
When it comes to power and performance, the FX Golf Car spares nothing to provide a smooth, long-range ride, superior mechanical control, and industry-leading safety features. The FX Golf Cars are powered by a 51V/105Ah lithium EcoBattery, a 6.3 kW motor, 450Ah controller and an onboard 48V charging system.
As always, safety is the top priority for all LSVs within the ICON Family of Brands. This LSV comes with 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, an emergency brake release lever, double wishbone independent front suspension, and rear leaf spring and coil over shocks providing the most comfortable ride available. The LED front combination lights include low-lights, high beams, turn signals, daytime running lights (DRLs), and charger indicator light. The dual lit side mirrors keep your surroundings in view, and oncoming and passing traffic aware of your next move. The LED rear lights include taillights, brake lights, back-up lights, and hazard lights.
Another appealing feature of this new model is the ability for dealers to easily adjust the ride height from lifted to non-lifted based on the customer’s preference, and comes in six elegant metallic colors.
