The website golfspan.com has listed its top street-legal golf cars for 2022.

The site explains various things consumers might want to consider such as seating configurations, top speeds and the necessity of lights and windshields.

“Contrary to the stories on the internet, electric golf carts possess a higher maximum velocity than gas carts,” the site explains. “But electric carts tend to slow as the battery drains, while gas carts maintain their speed and power for longer. Therefore a gas cart is faster over longer distances than an electric model.”

The site then lists its top cars for 2022, which include the Polaris Gem E2, Club Car Villager 2+2, Yamaha Drive 2 Quietech EFI and E-Z-Go Express S6. The Polaris features “Premium comfort; Lots of legroom” and the ability to “Customize the options to your preferences.” The Club Car includes “Great windshield; 3-point seat belts; Rust-proof frame.” The Yamaha is rated for: “Maximum range of 261-miles; It is quiet; Rear fold-down seat.” And the E-Z-Go is cited for: “6 seats allow plenty of space for family; Increased range; Comfortable seats.”
